On March 26th, 2018, Virgil Abloh  an American creative designer, DJ, and the founder of the Milan-based fashion label Off-White was named artistic director of Louis Vuitton’s men’s wear line. His first show will take place in June during Men's Fashion Week in Paris.

Abloh was the art director for the 2011
Jay-Z / Kanye West album Watch the Throne, for which he was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Recording Package .In Chicago, 2009, Kanye and Virgil interned at Fendi Roma before launching Pyrex Vision, the idea that pushed Abloh into the spotlight and would influence him to produce the high-end streetwear brand, Off-White in 2013. Virgil stated, Pyrex “wasn’t made to be a clothing brand” so it was discontinued after just one year.
