After Trump was declared as the Winner of the Unites States of America Pressidential Election, lots of controversy has been coming but this is exclusive from the Fashion industry.  It all skyrocketed when designer Sophie Theallet penned an official statement saying that she would take not take part in dressing Melania Trump the soon-to-be First Lady.
“As one who celebrates and strives for diversity, individual freedom and respect for all lifestyles, I will not participate in dressing or associating in any way with the next first lady,” she said via social media. At the end of the statement, she asked other designers to refrain from dressing the family and normalizing the presidency in any way. Finally, one designer has responded: Tommy Hilfiger

According to WWD Tommy Hilfiger finally chimed into the conversation with a completely opposite response. “I think Melania is a very beautiful woman and I think any designer should be proud to dress her,” he said. “Ivanka is equally as beautiful and smart, although she wears her own clothes. I don’t think people should become political about it. Everyone was very happy to dress Michelle [Obama] as well. I think they look great in the clothes. You’re not gonna get much more beautiful than Ivanka or Melania.”

Tommy Hilfiger not the type to shy away from making controversial statements certainly disagrees with Other designers and being the first to speak out he didn't agree with Sophie.
