The 40th Anniversary of
the Economic Community of West African States.
ECOWAS consists of 15 countries will be marked by Benin, Burkina
Faso, Cape Verde, Cote d’Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana,
Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria,
Senegal, Sierra Leone and Togo.
ECOWAS Fashion week the second edition is
scheduled to hold on August 28th – 30th in Cotonou,
Republic of Benin.
The
event aims to build, expand and encourage fashion and
a common market hub amongst these countries.
The event would entail Fashion creatives in
designing, manufacturing, makeup artistry, styling,
media, PR, photography, and beauty segments
which would enhance competitiveness among
young upcoming designers in the ECOWAS region,
thereby showcasing originality in their work.
