5 days ago Vanity. air introduced
Caitlyn Jenner to the world, most
readers were anxious to learn
more of the Olympian’s much-
talked-about transition which has always been on his/her mind and was shown even in KUWTK (Keeping Up With The Kardashians)
Annie
Leibovitz-directed the shoot. After
spending 65 years publicly living
as Bruce, the athlete, and parent. The
former reality television star
stepped back into the spotlight as
Caitlyn, a metamorphosis
which Jenner has by all accounts
ruminated over for years before
finally electing to continue
hormone treatments , undergo a
tracheal shave, and complete
a facial-feminization surgery over
the past year. To say Jenner’s
decision to embrace her identity as
a transgender woman on the
national stage is brave and
commendable would be an
understatement, but Could it be that
in light of Jenner’s dauntlessness,
American media has been inspired
to abandon its reliance on
airbrushing?
I believe Photoshop was
undoubtedly used to refine the
cover, as is the industry standard,
Vanity Fair made the notable
decision to preserve much of
the image’s authenticity, so-called
“flaws” and all. Defining features
such as Jenner’s sinewy arms, a
remnant of her Olympic medal-
winning decathlon days, muscular
thighs, and facial
features softened from the
feminization surgery were all left by Photoshop,
if not further illuminated for the
cover image. It seems Jenner’s valiance and
security in her choice has turned a
chapter not only for transgender
women, but for all women.
The release of the Vanity Fair cover,
which announced Jenner’s new name and look,
coincided with the launch of her
@Caitlyn_Jenner twitter account. Jenner
racked up more than 1 million followers in a
few hours, a new Twitter record, and had more
than 2 million as of Friday.
On Tuesday, ESPN announced that Jenner
would receive the Arthur Ashe Courage Award
at the July 15 ESPY Awards. That will be
followed by the July 26 premiere of E!’s “I Am
Cait,” which runs eight episodes.
In fact, sources said Jenner has been on the
road this week shooting material for “I Am Cait”
and hasn’t had much time to catch up with the
latest round of coverage.
“She’s doing it,” a source close to Jenner says.
“She’s not sitting at home reading her own
press. She’s on a mission to save lives and
make a difference.”  To be honest 65 years Old Caitlyn is pretty which is making her a hot one for covers.
Top brands are also clamouring to have a deal with the new lady in town.
Congrats Bruce you got your wish
More news to come

Transgender women are
sharing their very own Vanity Fair covers with the
hashtag #MyVanityFairCover on tumblr and twitter.
This movement started after transgender actress
Laverne Cox weighed in on Caitlyn Jenner’s cover
on Tumblr where she
wrote in part: “It is important to note that these
standards are also informed by race, class and
ability among other intersections. I have always
been aware that I can never represent all trans
people. No one or two or three trans people can.”
Tumblr users were quick to continue the
conversation, with two users creating their very
own Vanity Fair cover with their own modified
headline ‘Call Me _____’.
