Its tofficial! Swedish retail giant H&M is set to open its first store in South Africa
November this year. The company has branches in over 57 countries with 3,500
stores, they debut in South Africa with an approximately be 3 000m² store in Sandton
City, Johannesburg.
The H&M’s flagship store will be the second largest
clothing retailer in the world, only two other H&M
stores exist on the African continent – one in
Morocco and another in Egypt. The company has
collaboration with high-end brands as well as
prolific guest-designers such as Versace, Karl
Lagerfeld and Alexander Wang on limited collections
that offer their huge clientele “affordable luxe”.
